Don’t we want the Australians to be blessed? The British? The Italians? The Greeks? The Israelis? The Palestinians? The Afghanis? Why should Americans (meaning only the ones in the United States of America) be the only ones to be blessed?

When you do this, you are moving away from limited beliefs into expanded possibilities. Yet it can be very difficult if you have one foot rooted in the past, "my country right or wrong", and the other poised to step into a future world with the hope of one planet, one people.

Illinois recently temporarily suspended execution of death row inmates when it was found that there was a high instance of inmates on death row that were later exonerated of all charges. Some months ago Time magazine reported that as many as 30 to 40% of death row inmates in the most populous states may be innocent. In 10 states, lawmakers have proposed legislation to place a moratorium or abolish executions until they can get the justice system under control.
